The People's Voice. Time for Change.
VOTE NOVEMBER 3, 2026
I'm running for City Council because Pittsburg residents deserve leadership that listens, communicates openly, manages taxpayer dollars responsibly, and puts residents at the center of decisions affecting our community.
Residents deserve to know how and why major decisions are being made.
Major decisions affecting our community should include meaningful resident participation.
Support safe neighborhoods and strong partnerships between residents, law enforcement, and the City.
Attract businesses, restaurants, retail, hotels and employers that create good-paying jobs and improve our quality of life.
Invest in parks, recreation programs and opportunities for Pittsburg's young people.
Support a moratorium on additional data center development and oppose Phases 2 and 3.
Pittsburg is facing a $5 million structural budget deficit. We need a long term financial strategy that doesn't depend on one controversial development project or continually drawing down reserves.
I support diversifying City revenue through responsible commercial development, restaurants, retail, hotels, waterfront investment, small businesses and employers that create good paying jobs.
City government must also examine spending, prioritize essential services and demonstrate that taxpayer dollars are being used responsibly.

He is running because he believes Pittsburg needs a new voice and a new direction, one that puts residents at the center of City government. Alvin is ready to listen, work collaboratively, and bring practical solutions to the challenges facing Pittsburg.
